01. Library
Our volunteer run library service is open to people across all ages. Our collection of books ranges from children’s moral stories to all the famous award-winning novels in Tamil. We welcome you to browse our available books and feel free to contact us via email should you wish to recommend any books/authors to be in our collection or for any borrowing enquiries. If this is going to be your first Tamil book read, don’t hesitate to reach us for recommendations. Our friendly team of avid book readers are more than happy to assist you with your specific learning needs.02. Learn
Aotearoa Tamil aspires to become a learning hub where we are creating an opportunity for all to teach and learn the Tamil language and other important subjects/languages such as Te Reo Māori, Science, Mathematics, and English. We are forming this based on the framework of the Four Cs – Collaboration, Creativity, Communication, and Critical Thinking. Our aim is to tap on the strengths of the community and to enhance it further to create successful future generations.03. Events
Aotearoa Tamil runs events throughout the year to engage with the Tamil community though language-related and cultural activities. Book clubs are held regularly to discuss about good reads and have health debates on. We create this space for like-minded individuals to connect, share knowledge, and inspire one another. Most of all, we embrace children’s talents and motivate them to stay connected to our roots. 04. Tamil Community Centre
We are gearing towards a space to call it our community centre where we plan to act as a hub to foster community activities. Keep your eyes peeled on this section as more information becomes available.05. Contribute
